Back to the 50's

Every year, the Stunt Performer's Group has a big party at the TV Academy to honor their nominees for the Emmy's, and it's always a theme party and one of the most fun of the year. This year the theme was '50's and they had Bowzer from Sha Na Na there as the host. The decorated the courtyard in front of the theatre to look like a diner, and it was really cool!
I didn't have time to really go find an outfit, but Dylan said I'd be fine if I just wore a white t-shirt, jeans, and did my hair up in a pompadour. I was worried because I thought I didn't look very good to be going to a cool party, but when I got there, all Dylan's co-workers were complimenting me on my hair and asking me how long it took me to do it. So, I was fine after all! Since Dylan's head is shaved now, he borrowed my Elvis wig.
The party was really fun. They had some dancers that did a sort of "west side story" routine to kick things off and then they had a video of some of the stunt sequences from television in the past year. Then they presented the nominees.
The food was excellent - it was all sort of "diner" food, like sliders, tater tots, grilled cheese sandwiches, etc. There was also an ice cream bar where I got a root beer float. The open bar was sponsored by Grey Goose as usual.
After Dylan was done working the sign in table, we had a lot of fun dancing and talking to his co-workers, I talked for quite awhile to Joel's girlfriend, Sims, and to Robert's niece who is named something like Darrin.
After the party was winding down, we wanted to go to Myles' club at The Palms. Unfortunately by this time I was really drunk, so when we got to the club I needed to pee really bad and I didn't want to wait for the bathroom, so I went back into the hallway to the private bathroom. I was about to release the stream when someone knocked on the door. It was the bartender Craig telling me I wasn't allowed to use that restroom and that he would show me where I could go. He practically dragged me out to the regular bathroom, although he took me to the women's room, whatever that was supposed to me. I got really upset and just went outside and was talking to people out there, then I realized I still needed to pee, so I just went back in, made sure Craig wasn't looking, and then went to the bathroom in the hallway. Just to be spiteful, I went downstairs after that and hung out by myself on the couch, trying to convince myself that I was being sneaky. That soon got boring so I went back outside to find Dylan.
There was this group of two girls (one lesbian, one seemed straight) and a cute guy, who they said was 'pretty much straight' or something like that. I was flirting and talking with him and then for some reason, I grabbed him and pulled him towards me and Dylan and I went in to try and kiss him!!! He pulled away and then after that things got awkward. So, Dylan and I ended up leaving to go to Fubar to meet our friends.
At FUBAR, we found Luther, Andrew, Jason, Marc, Viktor, and Andrew B, so we hung out there until closing time and then I just vaguely remember standing on the sidewalk afterwards and this cute kid asked me for a light so I got him one and then demanded that he show me his privates. He declined so then I got bored and Dylan took me home.
