"Real Men Wear Pink" (Jingle) Devin Tait version

I've been honored to serve as a "Real Man" as part of the American Cancer Society's "Real Men Wear Pink" initiative over the past few months. Our fundraising efforts are ramping up this month, which is known as "Pinktober" for breast cancer awareness.

So far, as part of the campaign, I have marched in the Long Beach Pride Parade, participated in fundraising activities, held my own fundraiser in Hollywood, and have raised over $3,000!

Robin Hall, the coordinator of RMWP Los Angeles, and I wrote a little jingle for the campaign, which we have performed at fundraising events and recorded. I recently recorded my own "new wave" version of the jingle and filmed the above video. I hope you enjoy it - and hope it inspires you to donate to my campaign:

I'd like to thank everyone who has donated so far, I was able to exceed my initial fundraising goal. But I'm currently in 4th place in the LA fundraiser and would love to move up in the rankings a little before it's over! Help me get top 3 at least!

For those who don't know, my mother-in-law (who is already dealing with Parkinson's and dementia) was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple of years ago. She went through two rounds of chemo and afterward they declared her cancer free! It was a difficult time for us and my husband and I both took time out of our busy schedules to take her to doctors appointments and helped out any way we could. Not all who get the diagnosis are lucky enough to have people who can support them, drive them to appointments, etc. Some people live far away from the closest doctors and hospitals that can help them, and need assistance and accommodations. That's just one of the ways ACS helps people who are fighting cancer. Help me and join the fight!
